The second-day competition of the "Good Luck Beijing" 2007 Canoe/Kayak Flatwater Open was staged on August 24. In the three semifinals this morning, a total of nine paddlers were qualified for the finals, including five European paddlers. None of the Chinese paddlers ranked top three in the semifinals so as to be eliminated out of the finals. Pictuer shows the semifinal of the men's K-1 1,000m event.
