According to the news conference of BOCOG on July 25, the preparations of “Good Luck Beijing” Rowing-Canoeing Event have been finished.

The vice president of “Good Luck Beijing” Rowing-Canoeing Event Organizing Committee, Xin Qunying said that the schedule of competition and training has been decided, and systems of timing, marking, communication and venues public-address are in test. Venues stuff have finished the table practicing and simulated exercises.

The sign-in of stuff with salaries, volunteers and VIP has been done. The Opening Ceremony of 2007 World Rowing Championships is in clinking, and other preparations are going on plan.

According to the introduction, one larruping point of this event is the quota of entry players is bigger than it in the Olympics. Now, 1100 persons, including 700 athletes from 50 countries and reigns have entered “Good Luck Beijing” 2007 World Rowing Championships. 325 persons, including 206 athletes from 29 countries and reigns are going to enter the “Good Luck Beijing” Flatwater Open, and 234 persons, including 143 athletes from 22 countries and reigns will be in the 2007 Canoe/Kayak Slalom Open.

The electronic timing system and all equipments at the start, the lane, the finish, the rolling could meet the need of Olympics.
